Badgeless Grille or GTi Grille?

Featured Replies

Which one do you think would look better on a mk5 polo 6n2? I was thinking about getting the gti grille but I cant decide which one would be better.

IMO Gti grill mate. I previously had the de-badged grill but with that you have either got to live with the half circle in the bonnet or get a costly job that'll remove it completly. Personally I'd get the GTI grill I've got it and have not looked back :D

But it's up to you!

Cheers

i second josh's oppinion i recently got a gti grill without red trim and i much prefer it to the normal one :)

Got a GTI grill for sale mate :)

Original grille - paint the badge if you want something different.

picking up my 6n2 next week first mod is a gti grille tbh OEM+ FTW!

De-badged does look the best if done properly eg indy's. If you can't do the welding etc yourself its a bit to expensive to be an option though imo.

Thanks for your opinions guys, I went for the gti grille.

i prefer the look of the debadge if the bonnet has the bit welded... exhibit A (the bonnet isnt welded but it looks good on this one anyway)

Each to their own i suppose. I've got the debadged grill but I'm going to get a GTI one too... just for the hell of it. Changes the car look quite a lot imo and its not exactly expensive

Don't see the point of a GTI grill if it isnt a GTI :p

because i dont like the gash debadged jobbie and the horrible blue slatted one i have is boring, so the gti is the best alternative but i wont be a willy and put the gti badge on it because it isnt a gti
