Corrado 2.0 16v Classic Green '95 M reg

Featured Replies

Here I have for sale my 1995 (M registration) Corrado 2.0 16v in Classic Green.

I have owned the vehicle from May 2009 and my reason for selling it is because I now have a new car and have no reason to keep the Corrado. Also buying a house means I need to get this car sold now to free up some cash :)

**Tax has now expired**

Here is the spec and info on the car:

•1995 M registration – this is one of the latest models

•Has an original 2.0 16v engine

•Mileage is approx 138,000 (I have done around 12,000 since May 2009)

•MOT until July 2011

•I have most service history with stamps in the book – I had it serviced privately in July 2010, oil & filter change and changed air filter. All parts supplied by GSF and have receipts for those.

•Have receipts from previous ownership and receipts for work done to pass MOT.

Exterior:

•The exterior of the car is in very good condition. There are a few tiny patches of rust(pictured) but other than that the car is rust free.

•All trim is in tact.

•Has had brand new number plates supplied to pass MOT (old ones had just corroded).

•Lupo aero wipers fitted at front and standard rear wiper.

•G60 steels are in good condition few scuffs here and there.

•Side exit exhaust (was on the car when I bought it, not to my taste but is not blowing and is in good condition). Cat replaced October 2010.

Interior:

•Black/purple late spec seats in cloth – all in good condition and rear seats are very rarely used.

•Late spec dash – late spec heater dials, speedo and other gauges etc.

•It has black mats throughout that are all in good condition and all carpet is in good condition also.

•Has pure black parcel shelf with cut outs for 6x9 speakers that are covered in black cloth so cut outs are not visible (this came when I bought the car). Currently no speakers in the parcel shelf.

•Has a basic radio/CD player although unfortunately CD player doesn’t seem to be working – it wont eject CD’s but does play the one that is stuck in it!

Electrics:

•Spoiler! It works perfectly every time and operates at 60mph. The switch on the dash works perfectly also.

•Sunroof works fine. Tilts up and down and retracts back and forward. No leaks.

•Both passenger and driver window work electrically too.

•MFA works perfectly.

•Electric mirrors are a bit temperamental – only the drivers side one works.

Engine, wheels & suspension:

•Not a lot to say about the engine. The whole cooling system has been replaced in June 2009. Radiator fan & motor, radiator hose, and thermostat have all been replaced as the car suffered with overheating problems. All fine now.

•Had front wishbones and rear bushes (rear bushes cost £200 at garage) changed for MOT purposes. I have a receipt for the parts and a receipt for the work that was carried out on the rear as this was done a VW specialist garage.

•Suspension: The car is on Bilstein shocks and springs – I would take a guess that is lowered 40mm all round. These were fitted before I purchased the car.

•Spare wheel.

Recent repairs carried out/parts fitted for purpose of the sale:

•Catalytic converter replaced October 2010 (new part)

•Near side rear wheel bearing replaced October 2010(new part supplied by GSF) it has turned out that it is the off side rear bearing that needs replacing. I dont unfortunately have the time to get this replaced so will include that bearing in the sale.

•Spark plugs replaced October 2010 (new parts supplied by GSF)

•Near side front wing dent removed and painted professionally. Someone hit the car whilst it was parked in the street. No damage to the headlight or any other panel – just a careless driver who hit the wing and drove off!

In the time I have owned the vehicle I have driven it mainly to work and back which is a short journey of around 15 miles there and back.

The car travelled to Belgium and back for a show back in 2009 without a single hiccup and drives well on short journeys or motorway journeys.

I would like **NEW PRICE** £1200 ONO for the car. I will not part ex or swap.

Please contact me via email x10_rns@hotmail.co.uk or via my mobile after 5.30pm on weekdays 07974000886. If you send me a PM it might not be read straight away as I dont get to check this site very often.

Thanks for looking
