i want to get 6n2 gti lowered and will be getting some springs soon, in the meantime I've been asking from garages how much will they charge to change the springs from the normal ones to lowering springs and I've been quoted $100+ .... LOL

it can vary quite abit but around 20-30 a corner is fairly average, as some of those bolts can be a b***h

Its all about the labour on it, plus the fact that you'l probably need the tracking done afterwards too. You're better off finding someone on here that lives near you and will help you out for a crate - you might learn something too that way :)
