Good points: Solid chassis well "lubricated" around the front.

Bad points: brakes need bleeding and rear shoes replacing, suspension is leaking, head gasket is gone (not the reason for sale, vws go on forever!), oil leak, water leak......I prefer to use the word incontinence.

Price:Depends on how much you want of it just the car £120,Car with 5 tarantulas £200, car with nearly new Weber DMTL (2-3000 miles ago) £200 Car with all bits including spare grille £275 if alloys are not specified you will get some wonderful steelies. and if you dont want the carb you will need to trailer it away as the old pooburg is destroyed.

P.S. the only problems with the car are the things you'd want to change if you were to do an engine conversion e.g. brakes suspension and high mileage engine.

Please someone save this perfectly salvageable beast and AFH it or G40 it please.

last bit..... it isn't that rusty compared to say a fiesta or corsa half its age and woould make a great sleeper especially with the tatty bodywork.
