I have a red mk4 with white wing mirrors and white/red two tone bage. I bought some 16v wheels a while ago with the intention of going black and red, but i am now having second thoughts. Might just go white wheels, mirrors and badge.... Everyone goes for black and red and although it sounds stupid i dont wanna look like every other red polo. I know its my desicion at the end of the day, but any opionions? cheers

my opinion is make your own mind up

White will be in your face - sporty if done properly,garish if not (and no good if you're a blues supporter!)

Black far more subtle,tasteful if done properly and more forgiving if not.

There are things like gold leaf in existence,that goes with red paint if you're feeling really brave,but whilst it can look amazing done right it could also go really wrong.

Ok, think i might go for black purely because of the winter coming up...but I'm feeling gun metal or a white with red sparkles maybe for the summer. :-D cheers
