For sale is my wife’s 1984 VW Polo. Had the car for 2 years now and we have never had 1 single problem. It is a 4speed 1.3litre

The car is 100% solid underneath and being a B reg is has the better body than the later one’s.

The car has had the cam belt done at 48k

New rear wheel brake cylinders, discs and pads at 48k

The car has receipts for services including oil filter and oil changes every 1000 Miles from new up to 30k then serviced as per necessary. This car has been especially cared for and the engine is as sweet as it was from new. It has plenty of power for a 1.3 as there is no real weight to these cars yet they are solid built cars. The history with this car is truly amazing. It really has been looked after. The only real reason for sale is purchase of a new family car as we have our first child on the way. My wife is very very reluctant to sell!

The car has a few minor stop chips, but for a 26 ½ year old car, it’s better than most 5year old cars!

There is a tiny bit of rust on the rear tailgate by the wiper and a bit at the bottom of 1 of front doors but is not noticeable because of the colour of the car. The interior is apparently limited edition as we have been told by some VW enthusiasts and we have never seen another Polo with it. It is very ‘jazzy’.

The car has real character and it’s hard to put a price on such a classic car with such an extensive history!

The car is so economical on fuel it virtually runs on fresh air.

It has original VW Polo 13inch wheels all tyres are nearly new.

Also just remembered windscreen has a crack across from passenger side inwards so will reduce to £500.
