hahahaha yeah it is a bit on the heavy side for not that much more noise, so at some point in the future i'm going to do away with a backbox and have a straight pipe ending with a shotgun stlye, like the below:

even the same colour as my polo!

shouldn't be hard getting one fab'd up but as usual with mk3 backbox's clearance will need to be addressed

over the last week i have cleaned and fitted the grey carpet, cleaned and refitted the seats, fitted an earth strap to the bonnet from the wing (original was broken), fixed the leak from the thermostat housing, fitted new washer piping, removed and painted the wiper arms satin black, fitted new aero wipers, replaced the rocker cover breather pipe thing and generally cleaned the interior plastics

i have also sold the black carpet to busterg40 still on the look out for a job though

sorted the lambda probe heater plug/wiring today which should make it run a bit better from cold, adjusted the tickover rpm to just under 900 rpm which is about 800rpm with all lights, heater and radio etc.... on so that it no longer judders, fitted the headunit which i really like and was a freebie from a friend out of a polo that was scrapped

and i've decided what colour this is going to be sprayed, audi arrow grey, found on the mk1 TT:

what i'm aiming for except with black steels, it's going to the spray shop friday or saturday and will be done when i'm back off my hols in a couple of weeks, going to miss the polo show this year :(

ye be ready just been to 5 tyres shops in chesterfied and non of them will stretch tyres on ATS as they said they dont do anything for illegal running boy racers hahaha :/

get slightly wider tyres then, same profile but wider you don't need that much stretch to be honest!

nooo as in paint the bung so its colour coded but i don't want the hole filling as i may decide to put the wiper back on or the next owner might or something, its not had a rear wiper for a while because the old one had broken

but you need to paint under the bung aswell lol some people will not understand and just paint it straight over it

nah theres written instructions on a sheet of paper inside the car, its just they might not know what it the hole was

my dads friend who is the owner of a bodyshop is doing the car so he can just ring us anyway
