Its had a ton of work do in the engine bay and it is currently running just over 230bhp. The engine sounds great as the exhaust system is a 6 branch into a full Miltek job.

People thought my 16" Venoms were iffy, how about the 17" Momo Arrows? As the pics show the front splitter is a bit screwed but i dont see the point in changing it anytime soon as it hits the entrance to my car park.

So I'm going to be throwing £££ at this thing now, mainly at the fuel pumps but you get over it.

where did u get this from

A lad who has been friends with my bro since school has owned it the last 7yrs. So i know all about the car from pub talk with him over the years haha

nice its not the us spec thou is it lol

is that a bazooka on the back or a exhaust? lol

  • Author

forget what the exhaust looks like its all about the SOUND which is truely epic , a totally different league to anything 4cylinder turbo or NA.

Real men have at least 6 cylinders hehe

yeah they sound epic, remember one overtaking me in the GT and it felt like the floor was shaking...hence the reason i'm getting a mk5 r32. But its taking some man'ing up to pay that 460 quid road tax

Nice 8-)

I'm working up to one of these.

Got a long way to go though :-(

Insurance wise these are not terrible, its an extra £250 compared to my Mk2 Golf 16v and the bhp limit on my Golf was 150bhp and this one is 250bhp.

But then again I'm in a town in the West Country and your in Sheffield haha

I spent a fair chunk of Saturday afternoon treating the paint. Started off with 2 washes with shampoo, then it was G3'd and had all the tar spots removed (there were lots!). Gave it another wash down before it was left to soak.

After shampoo an rinsing it was time to dry an wax, 2 coats of meguiars Canuaba wax, 1 coat of sealer and 2 coats of polish and the paint looks so much better, feels so smooth and the colour really flips from purple to blue. Shame that by time i got the camera out the clouds had come :(

very 90's spec i like it ! nice dainpipe on the back aswell

I like some of the 90's stuff, i have rocked laguna splitters, funky coloured lights - Have had bright green lights on my Oaky and my old Pistacio Mk4 haha. I have had iffy exhausts before now and my alloy choice does vary with some people

What are they like to drive kerrly?

Thinking in looking for a nice example next year..

Totally different to the rev the nuts off it 1.8 16v Golf.

I go to the pumps quite often, get about 23mpg due to the spec: Grant Motorsport P+P Head, 263/264 Cat Cams, P+P Intake manifold + Throttle body, 6 branch and Miltek system, proberly other things.

Can sit at motorway all day long.

3rd and 4th pull like 2nd and 3rd in the golf, i goes up to just shy of 150mph.

Is it a genuine VR6 storm? Normally crazy scene tax on those for a couple of storm badges and a colour coded front grille, Only made 500 of them, 250 in the blue you have and 250 in green, might be something to think about if you come to sell it on.

Looks good, been looking at these myself, not sure if i want a BMW E36 328i or a VR6.

Edited by 33Hz!

No, not the real thing, my mate added it and stuck it on, i have yet to try and take it off as i might reck the paint.

Ah ok, awesome cars, kinda sound like chewbacca at full chat, at least the ones I've heard have lol

is it wrong to really like it how it is? not same old dished wheels and on the floor....

Looks way better than the yellow rado!

I prefer the yellow one actually, swings and roundabouts!

I do like the VR6, apart from the front eyebrow debadged-ness.

  • Author

The yellow one is my bro's USA raddo - As in not just a US front bumper (Like most people at E38 thought) an actual american import. Its just standard and he had it resprayed 3mths ago.

I will probably leave it in the 90's unless i find some sweet 16s.

STUNNING!
