well these rims are now offa the polo and ready for a new home, the details have changed a little so I have created a new thread

As the title really, they are all straight no dents or buckles etc each rim does show some signs of chipping and very very light kerbing which is due to the amount of stretch and stones hitting the lip and bashing the powder coat. one rim does have 2-3inches of fresh kerbage which is due to my mindless stupidty of perving at the girl across the road when parking:(

The tyres are all nankangs, heavily heavily stretched which has totally killed one tyre as it has started to delaminate on the bead which is fully exposed, can be seen in the pictures. the two fronts are fine though and still have 3-4mm tread across, yet the shafted tyre and the other rear have 'awesome camber' spec rear wear and thus is fine on the outside but worn on inside

they tyres will also not hold pressure very well some worse then other, I do 90 miles a day and had to put air in them every other day to keep them at what I would call a safe pressure (35-45). this is due to the amount of stretch and they were fitted when the wheels were taken out of the powder coat oven, so I dare say whip them off and re fit with tyre sealant and they will seal no problems

Sorry for the dirt on the wheels, tjhey will be fully cleaned before they go. had no facilities in work to clean them before I put them away
