yeah mate currently trying to decide the best way to go about it... best tyre/wheel size and what sort of drop i should go for

No problem Luke aha, I'm thinking of getting some coilovers in january when my insurance renews, will have years no claims and that so insurance should be a bit less...

If not, I'm just gonna wait a bit and buy a 1.4, transfer my stuff over and then lower that :)

New little update, nothing special. changed my rocker cover gasket haha hopefully ordering shocks and springs sometime in the near future

off the road for a month now, head gasket is knackered. on the upside though this has caused me to get my ass in gear and start thinking about getting some stuff done to the car. got someone to get it sorted over the next two weeks. heads skimmed, new cambelt, plugs, oil and whatever else we feel the need to replace.

hopefully gonna have a look at getting a k&n bolt on air filter. but thats just a thought atm, gonna hopefully get a couple pics of it during its repair.

and of any other things i decide to do

yeah its been there since just after NYrs, but had someone come over today to take the head off and we discovered the real problem, two oil pressure switches had gone and oil was pising out the engine at the back, so off down to GSF tomorrow afterwork and i should have it running again by the end of the week. :)

and i have been thinking long and hard about lowering so i get it right first time, and thats gonna be my next bit of work to do :)

and cheers mate, same with u if u ever need a hand or lift etc...

hit another setback today:

came to the conclusion one of my oil pressure switches was knackered and the other one about to go and my fuel filter was clogged as f*ck. so went GSF on the way home from work,got the bits and fitted them as soon as i got home. filled it up with oil and it seems to have stopped the leak i was worried about, but i have still got oil seeping slightly from the head and dripping down behind the alternator. so i am now gonna get the heads skimmed and put back together (this weekend hopefully) and all should be good in a couple weeks time.

alot of setbacks recently but hopefully once i got this done ill have the summer to make it look the way id like to :)
