Without knowing the width of your wheels, I'd suggest 185/45 or 195/45.

why do you want to put stretched tyres on it?

because i want the lip on my dish to show instead of there being a tyre wall if u know what i mean, i couldnt tell u the width of the wheel the wheels were already on the car as i got em there cades if thatl help cheers

The fact you know fuck all means that it probably isnt too safe for you to be rocking stretch as a certain amount of common sense is needed :)

Why do you NEED stretch? If your tyres dont protrude (big word for you I'm sure but bear with me ;) ) outwith the body then I see no need to stretch the tyres as they are legal as they are. If they were protruding from the bodywork then go for it. Dont do it just so the lip stands out from the tyre though......thats just trying to fit in....

Have you got a picture of your car / wheels?

LMFAO, the irony!

Why does it seem that majority of users of this forum are gettin very hostile when a question is asked! Remember we were all beginers at some point!!!

Reasons for stretch:

to make wider/lower offset wheels more usable

tyre sticks out from the arch (thus making it illegal)

tyre don't stick out but rubs on the inner lip of the arch

if you don't hve these issues then stretch is almost pointless if you could give us the size of your wheels an maybe a picture we can suggest something for you!!

mine used to have 195/50/r15s i now have 165/50/r15s on

Go outside and look around the wheel nuts on the wheel. Should have a wheel size on there. If it doesn't whip the wheel off and look on the inside where the spokes and the centre hub is. Should have a wheel size there. Once you have that then you will be able to work out what size tyres you need.

Essentially what your doing at the moment is going "I need a shoe that fits but I don't know what size my foot is".

^ good analogy!

to the op, without looking at your car or wheels going on the experience of several years on this forum I think I can safely say: stick a 195/45/15 on it and it'll be reet.

i want bigger wheels to be onist but its doin me nut in coz i no itl scrap as me fronts scrape now me car is on its arse n i want bigger wheels to fit nice under the wheel arches i want schmidt th lines 7.5 on the front and 8.0 on the backs but would this be possible low and whitout arch work n if needs arch work how would i go round this to fit thanks

If they "scrap" now and you are going to put bigger wheels on i don't think a bit of stretch is going to help much. Take some pics and find out the width of your wheels

Is there any reason your incapable of typing properly? Just makes you sound like a complete retard, which is probably why your getting a lot of jip.

tell u what people are pickey on this website askin bowt cars n he tells me about my typing good help pall

n no there is no reason for my typing just the way it is sorry it aint to you are standerds

right, I'm asumming you have Cades Eros, in 15's, which usually are 6.5j, most of the time stretch on a 6 1/2j wheel looks shite and doesnt really serve a purpose, but if your that adamant you want it, fuck it.

165/45/15 - http://www.tyrestretch.com/6.5_165_45_R15/

195/45/15 - http://www.tyrestretch.com/6.5_195_45_R15/

personally, id go for the 165/50 if you really want stretch that much, but just remember, youll have less grip on 165's than you would on 195, so you cant go twatting it down country roads with as much vigour as normal

I'm not being funny, but why not just take a pic of the wheels on your car???

You can't just come on and say, "what tyre size for stretch" because there are different tyre sizes which give you different amounts of stretch, so we'd need to see the wheels first before we can give you an answer!!

And yeah, it would really help if you typed more clearly!! There isn't really a need for text talk on the net, it's nothing to do with standards, it's a language we all speak in this country, think they call it English, so why not just type...in English.

"tell u what people are pickey on this website askin bowt cars n he tells me about my typing good help pall"

Yeah but there is a way of asking. We go to school to learn how to spell and communicate via written text for a reason! It's so everyone can understand each other without reading twice!

Back to the point,

I presume you have a 6N2 from looking at your info, because you didn't state anything in your first post.

If you rims aren't atleast 7J, then stretch will look pretty shit. Your wheels will be buried in the arches and look absolutely tiny! Even 7.5J is pushing it on a 6N2 which has pretty big arches up front! You'd have to be seriously low to make it look half decent!

Don't waste your time getting "stretched tyres blud" for the sake of it!

Why? Cause you want help and I can understand what the fuck you are saying. Its not that hard to do.

You just seem like an angry chav, you can't type and every time someone asks you type in a manor that can be understood you get agro.

haha go buy a punto
