Passed my driving test :)

Featured Replies

Today at about 11am I passed my driving test. I'm so happy that I passed as I thought it was game over at the manoeuvre. Basically I had to reverse around the corner and to my luck the corner had been dropped until it was flush with the Tarmac. So I started reversing back and then I felt the slightest little bump, I thought oh no. I was only on the dropped corner about 1-2cm. So I carried on as normal and then did the independant drving part and drove absolutley fine. The examiner was a really nice guy so I was lucky there I suppose. It's quite funny as my test only lasted 30mins which was actually quite short my driving instructor said. Near the end he was just sitting there with his arms crossed. At that point I thought oh no have I failed due to the reverse around the corner or is it because I am driving quite well.

At the end of the test he goes to me that he'd let me off with the clip of the kerb because... Well he didn't really tell me why, But said apart from that i drove very well.

So I thought wow I'm really lucky. Luck must have been on my side today.

Anyone know of any really cheap insurance companies.

Congratulations, it's a great feeling.

RE: Cheap insurance, I'm a 25 year old who just passed his test 5 months ago, but have found Admiral to be the cheapest (I have same car and trim as you). However, I'm thinking after reading this, that's because I'm old. Collingwood I believe do cheap/cheapish car insurance for younger folk.
