i have a mk4 6n, is it possible changing the green lighting on all your dials at night time, if so how do you do it? cheer's frankie!

Which colour are you thinking if you want Red the its very easy just get all the switch and that out of a seat ibiza if you would like a different colour i.e i have bright white then its a case of taking them all apart and fitting new bulbs

2 things

1st... Is it quite easy to fit that speedo straight into the 6n

2nd... how come the screen in between the dials are empty, shouldn't something be shown there... i dont even know if anythings meant to be tthere

They are warning lights, it would be awesome if it was an LCD screen though....

If your handy with a soldering iron then it's fairly simple, if not then I think I have a few switches laying around that I could do for you?

As the the speedo there are two types, the later type (above which is backlit and you can pretty much have any colours you wanted even multicoloured number etc and then there is the earlier type which is front lot, ie has a bulb above which shines down. You can have any colour you want also, but it will light up the whole dash in front and also your face. I would stick to to red grean yellow etc as these aren't as bright as white and blue. My personal favourite is orange.

They dials are not interchangeable unless you change the whole dash loom or perhaps there is a adapter harness available?

As for the heater dials(yes, there is a lifht in theee!)if you want red ones then as above go for Ibiza ones, anything else then you will have to remove the grean tiny with sand paper an fit a hefty led in there. Also there are two types of these the earlier type has a bulb in the from of the middle knob(pull it out and have a look) and the later type has a bulb behind the middle knob(whole unit out to change)

I prefer the later type as you can use more colours.
