give these a call this is who i insure my g with

I had mine insured with adrian flux. They seem to work out cheaper than the big ones like admiral. Especially if its modified. They're very vw friendly.

Best to give the team a ring!

Not having a dig, but would be nice if your team picked up the phone, i rang 4/5 weeks ago tried twice and it kept ringing, and by that time i new no one would beat my renewal price anyway, £600 and yet quotes online where £1300/1400.

Then worst happend got done on tyre so now I'm back up to paying £900 a month grrr.. (elephant)

I hope thats 900 a year not a month ! Haha .

Yea for 10 months, i was hoping it was gona go down to at least 4/500, but no, now stuck with the points for 3 yrs and each yr of my insurance they take a point of and my insurance should start going down again but by that time i will be 25 so it should be very cheap (hopefully)

Ahh right , I nearly got 3 points for doing 56 in a 40 was very lost and got flashed but got the old course . So rather lucky , but yea I asked the question as my friend is just about to buy a g40 and he was wondering what it would cost ect , wonder if a 19year old could afford the g insurance ? Or should I keep dreaming haha ...

19 year old + g40 = accident waiting to happen

you could probably get insurance, but i wouldnt expect much change from a couple of grand and to be honest i think any car that will crack 60 in less than 10 seconds is way too fast for someone who has only a couple of years driving experience.

It depends how you drive tbh, I had a 1 litre, now got double the power but still dont do anything rediculous. But I know alot of my mates would kill themselves if they had faster cars

Well I'm 22 and last year i got quoted £800..... i know for shit i will never get that again, but that was with Brentace i think or it might of been HIC.

If you get stuck, please pm me your number and i'd get someone to ring you but there are free phone lines!

You think driving skill increases with age? Experience yes fair enough but I think thats a load of bollocks. My cars 0-60 is like 8.2 and I'm 19 does that mean ill be dead within the year?

experience goes hand in hand with skill. if you think otherwise, then you are deluded. Its proven that young lads and powerfull cars are in general, a bad mix. you may well be an exception to the rule, but then again i might find myself typing "i told you so!" in 6 months time.

For a start your assuming that i nail my car around everywhere. Just because it can do 0-60 in 8.2 doesnt mean I actually do that on a daily basis. There are thousands of young lads out there much more likely to write of their 1 litres than I am to write off my GTI because they go everywhere at warp factor 9.
