just bought a upper strut brace for my 6n how do you go about fitting them ?

I have the exact same problem, and i'm not sure what to do, because i also have bolts that stick out of my strut tower, that don't line up with the holes on my strut brace, meaning i'm going to have to drill the holes myself, once i've moved the other thing!

when you buy the strut brace you are meant to be provided with a bracket that moves your coolant bottle out by about 1-2inches so the strut clears it

Ah, mine didn't come with one, it was simply the strut brace! My engine coolant is the least of my problems atm, i have bits that stick up out of the strut tower, and it's making me have to make holes in the strut brace, so it can sit over it!
