ok cheers, when u say abit of work what briefly does it involve? and is it not possible to fit a 6n2 dash?

everything is possible with some work

tailgate and lights are very easy, iirc the bumper needs the bottom half of the 6n2 and the top half of 6n putting together

6n2 bumper will bolt straight on, but you'll also need to fit the bonnet, wings, slam panel, lights and grill. you can plastic weld the bottom half of the 6n2 bumper to the top haf of a 6n one.

dash will go in aswell, needs some re-wiring but it goes in.

rear lights need re-wiring and a little bit of trimming.

tailgate also goes on, but require the bits under the rear lights to be built out as the 16n2 is a bit 'chunkier'

just a buy a 6n2, if all you're going to do is make a 6n look like a 6n2

ok cheers guys, and i would much rather have a 6n2 but out of my price range the only ones i could get have like 130k miles on the clock, i no vw r reliable but that seems a lot for a 1l to me. so on goes the lil project lol. the dash is what i idealy want as the 6n dash looks dated now:)
