do not buy phillips diamond vision bulbs they are poor light bulbs which make driving dangerous

They actually look bright and i thought the HID kit are illegal?

This is a little bit vague and doesn't really explain why you have a problem with them.

I've never used them so can't comment but I can't stand people who post slagging things off, atleast give some other information so that it is actually helpful to others.

On normal driving conditions they were really dull and struggled to see the road clearly and on the wet impossible they were almost a green tinge! In my words the point of headlights is to see the road clearly! I did have osram nightbreakers and they were far better vision wise but yellowish and also when I first started using the diamond vision they smelt like burning! So yea detailed enough??

Also the diamond vision are illegal! And they look nothing like in that video but anyway buy them for 35quid if you want it's your money!

osram bulbs are the same as standard bulbs but only more brighter and not even white colour

i have philipis diamond vison bulbs and i cant fault them to be fair matey

I've got Philips Silver Vision bulbs in mine. Fitted them nearly seven years ago now, and rate them really highly.

Most of the uprated bulbs I've tried have been pish. But I tell you what are really good, I've found, are the high performance ones from Halfords. I got sent a set, put them in the Passat and they made a massive difference. That car came with HID-style bulbs, which were shit. I changed those for Osram Nightbreaker things, they weren't that good either. The Halfords ones are streets ahead of the rest.

I can't remember mine having the blue bit at the top, but I think they're the same as what I've got in the Passat. TBH they're cheaper than the Philips ones so that's probably what'll go into the Polo when its bulbs decide they're tired of life.

The blue bit doesnt acualy do anything

There proper white light, not your average dull yellow.

shame I've got hids now, which arnt much brighter than these, i just like the ways hids flicker on and off
