Lol If I new you did em I would of but hay at least there looking after me and sorting me out

It's TEM Sport and they do enough impressive work to counteract this one error.

Sam here, the bulider of this car. The engine had a full rebuild ACTUALLY. And I didn't build the engine, my brother did, who has 10 years+ working for some of the top engine tuners of GB, e.g Mountune (look it up). and tbh I don't think you could of found a better engine builder in Essex/east of England. We've built everything from ford RS200's making 620bhp track cars, too early 80's F1 cars which have made 1200bhp. I wouldn't believe a thing that the micky mouse garage have said that you've taking this too. They know FUCK ALL to what we know. And as someone else said, stripped threads do happen, it just happens sometimes. But to say it's all our fault, and to slag us off is very rude tbh. We know a f*ck load more then day to day garages know, And even so called engine tuners up where you live, the engine always ran fine when I had it. And as Justin said, we've done enough impressive cars, I think we know what we're doing.

love this car looks sooo much better now the stickers have gone from eerywhere love the green roof aswell :)

it has been taken to JBS AUTO DESIGNS so its not a micky mouse garage its far from it (LOOK THEM UP) i think you will find there an extremely well none company in and out of the VAG community, there more established than TEM SPORT..... they deal with VAG engine daily, designing there own turbo kits, custom fabricate parts, everything you can immagine...

iv seen the dammage thats been done and its a good job it was delt with when it was the cam could of snapped or been forced out as all the studs had been over done and ripped the threds out... there only ment to be 6nm and 90*

so yep school boy error on your behalf no one els has touched the engine.... so well in my rights to say what iv said

Edited by vw2vr6

i second that iv seen then the damage its taking them an extra day to get it done as they needed to order the tool in to repair it

Tbh you should probably rebuild the hole engine, i drove 20k in it and it was fine, I did kick the fook into it everyday tho, and I should of put a set of pistons init when it was rebuilt, but I really cba. And as for the studs, shit happens, ask any proper engine builder.

Lol basically I got an over priced bag of nails, paint runs all over, bodged engine, basically a bodged build everything done on the cheap side, no lamba sensor so you dind have to spend a bit more re-mapping it... You neva said that before I handed over the cash lol... As they say WHAT A D*CK 

Glad I do things the right way and will soon be fully forged with a re-bored bottom end, potted and gass flowed head , full pro respray... the works

Shit only happens if you dont follow specs or BODGE thing

TEMP(orary) SPORT.

Dont you just no it man!!!

Why'd you buy it then if you think its a bag of shit? I saw it at edition and thought the level of finish was pretty high!

He didnt tell you it had paint runs all over when you bought it? Did you look it over when you got it?

Nahhh all the stickers covered 90% of them the other 10 would of been easy to blast over now I'm just getting it done the right way. He did say about where he flatted it off on the bonnet too much but that's it....

Yer I had a good look before but most of the probblems are with the so called fully rebuilt engine and wiring....

Only became clear after a few days of living with it.

If I had none what I do now I wouldn't of gone anywhere ner it.... Looks good in pics an sevans is very good at bigging things up like " it's had a full rebuild " but not pistons like he's stated above, so I'd say rings have not been changes or the bores honed makes me think nothings been done at all just a clean and a bit of paint.... Just looks like a pack of lies....

Everything is now to be done correctly....

Full respary

Fiberglass body parts

A ( REAL ) fully rebuilt, forged engine bored out

New wheels

New interior & seat retrim

Private reg plate

And a few bits to be kept under my belt

Why would you need new pistons? the rings are there to wear you know not the pistons - also, depends how you read into the word 'full' into rebuild. it could mean replace everything bar the block, at which point rarely anyone replaces every component bar the block.

hmmmm not liking the arguing on this thread =(

but tbh if someone said a full rebuild, i would expect the piston rings and mains bearings to have been changed!!

things do happen when rebuilding an engine, I've had my fair few problems with swapping engines etc

How many of the studs on the head tore their threads? If it was just the odd one then it could have just been an honest mistake. #

As i said to you when i saw you though. Good to see that the car is getting a good going over. It deserves it. It's a cool car.

yer i was lead to belive it was a FULL rebuild so everything.... I'm not saying people dont have problems but this is a joke to say its ment to be Pro engine building company not following specs :/ thast to me says it all....

All of them are fuked... everyone was over done and all have been dammaged in some way so it kinda says it all, just make me think what els have been bodged....

yer everything is going to be sorted,..... my moto ( DO IT ONCE DO IT RIGHT ) not bodge the shit out of it

if you dont have evidence of the rebuild then you should just treat it with an err of caution.

all is good, itll be sorted, to be fair any high powered G engine is going to get ragged about, you'd be a fool not too, otherwise you'd just buy a normal polo.

without knowing all the full facts, we cant really comment, but we need a bit more information from yourself at to what is actually wrong with the engine first.

the garage dont sound terribly shit-hot considering they dont have a kit for helicoiling and told you the wrong size, but as always if you dont know the full story!

good luck with the rebuild.
