JDM Eaton G40 inside... Sold to make way for the EVO

Featured Replies

Need to wait for my better flowing injector nozzles to come and then get them installed and then can book it in for the map. Hopefully within the a month something like that.

Just been speaking to a guy and with VNT 17 turbo, 11mm pump, .216 nozzles and a map i would be looking at around 180bhp with 360+lbs/ft but then i will be looking at heavy duty clutch as that would tear mine to shreddies :)

I really want to see what yours puts out when you hit the rolling road after the map.

dude thats mega!!

hoping for around 200bhp :D been looking at NOZ

Its also expensive so probably be next winter time. Nozzles and map will see 130+ bhp so from 90bhp standard an almost 50% increase will still be fun :-) Especially coupled with a short shifter and some other bits and bobs.

Ha ha ha your hunger for MORE POWER is comical. Get it mapped first i bet it will be a completely different animal.

I was before but Now got a 1.5bar map sensor in now from bar-tek tuning

Edit; would running a normal one blow the ecu???

A normal MAP sensor is only good for 15psi - you tend to stretch the membrane inside it if you run more boost, and eventually it breaks. Bigger MAP sensor is the way to go - but you need a chip to match, as all the map points are thrown out of kilter when you change the sensor. Generally if we sell a 1.5 bar sensor to someone I strongly recommend a custom remap, as everything is so modified it's difficult to get a generic chip right.

Andy i think he is booked in for a remap. Runs much better than i thought it would on the current setup without being properly mapped.

Polo looks ace! Love the stickers on wing (y) and alloys are tidy!

Its not booked in yet still debating who to go to, PPP or Jabba sport

Yer its not that bad is it....

Whats the difference between what PPP can offer you and what jabba can offer you? Have either mapped an eaton G40 before? How much is the cost between the two. Obviously if you don't mind putting it up. Jabba were on my list as well.

From what I believe PPP have mapped Eaton polos before but unsure if that's correct..

Jabba said they could do the custom map for £420

Ppp gave me a price but it was for last year,

Both no what there doing with the G so I'm torn between the two tbh it will mostlikly go down to the price... But we shall see

We charge £300 for a day's mapping session.
