The reason this is up for swaps is because I have always been a volkwagen guy at heart (my first car was a show winning lupo that I built from the ground up, and have also owned a number of polos and a beetle)

I’m mainly looking for a swap for a 6n2 GTI

If I had to put a price on what I want for this I’d say around £3000.

Anyway heres the details.

its a 1994 eunos roadster so an import. was imported in 2001 with about 35000km on the clock i think so pretty much 20000 miles!

since then its gona up to 105000km so about 65000miles, silly low mileage really for the age!

The engine is a low mileage long nose crank motor and has the 8-hole crank pulley to prove it. It uses no oil or water and sounds smooth and crisp with no odd noises, rattles or anything untoward.

The cam belt was changed about 10k kilometres ago along with the tensioner, water pump and new coolant too.

Oil pressure is 4kg/cm on the gauge at hot running (this is perfect according to the work shop manual).

Compression is 200psi on every cylinder (again, perfect according to the manual).

It runs beautifully and further testament to its condition is the fact I get around 40... Yes 40 mpg!

The clutch was replaced about 20k kilometres ago with an Excedy unit.

The gearbox was fitted with a new IL Motorsport thrust bearing (noisy when driving at low speeds in high gears but at least you know its there! haha

New slave & Master Cylinders. It really does have “rifle bolt” like changes.

The car has been religiously serviced every 3k miles with new high grade oil, oil filter and air filter cleaning. The fuel filter has been changed every 3rd service and fuel treatment added as normal.

Gearbox and diff oil are fresh and have been changed around two/three times a year.

1.8 brake upgrade with yellow stuff pads all round

brand new 15x8 XXR 002's with brand new toyo t1r tyres (very small amount of curb rash on one wheel...never let your mom park your car!)

brand new brushed steel "fly off" handbrake button

chrome mx5parts gearknob

xenon headlights (very slight blue tint)

cali style race mirrors

brand new hks hi-power style exhaust

bad bits:

there was a purple flake bonnet effect on the original bonnet so swapped for a black one however this new one seems to have some black overspray on it, so is a bit dull in places(would probably buff out)

matt black boot (i like but not all do)

bootlid has a small dent in the bottom corner which isnt really visible now that the spoilers on.

small dent in the passenger side wing

very small unnoticable scuff in the rear bumper where a number plate was mounted. same on the front bumper

Can also include original gloss black bootlid and oem spoiler.

4x 14" original daisy wheels with gold centres and good tyres.

bilstein shocks

mountney steering wheel.

heres a few pics I have at the moment. The new exhaust isn’t fitted in these pictures.
