16" BBS RS 3-piece split rims just been refurbed!

Featured Replies

These are some BBS RS 061 (originally 8x16 with 2" lips, ET20, but made to 7x16 with 1" lips, so now ET 32) and BBS RS 075 (originally 9x16 with 3" lips, ET8, but made to 7x16 with 1" lips, so same as the other ones and ET32). They are a BMW fitment of 5x120 and have been refurbed in black with polished lips, re-chromed original BBS bolts, re-polished centre nuts and new centre cap badges. They have flush backs so are ideal for re-drilling to other stud patterns or you can use adapters if needed. I can custom-made billet adapters made if needed for £180 or can provide details for various companies that can do the re-drilling.

A lot of people make the mistake of buying cheaper unrefurbished 16” RS’s because of the cheaper price, but under-estimate how much they will cost to refurbish! You will need to split the wheels (nowhere as easy as RM’s), get new nuts & bolts (or re-chrome them), get the lips and centre-nuts polished, buy new centre caps badges, get the wheels painted, get some sealant and thread-lock, get the right sockets, then build them up together. Of course there is postage or petrol getting the parts to & from various places. Once it gets near to the end of building them they are shocked to find out that they cost far more than they thought they would!
