I got some Vectra flexis but haven't fitted them yet. The Vectra ones have got a banjo fitting on the caliper end and a screw in fitting on the hose end. It should be right, but I'll let you know if there's any problems.

Test fitted one of the 7s today. Didn't get chance to put an 8 on the rear as I've noticed that the CV boot is leaking :(

Hopefully get it booked in for Monday and get it sorted. I've decided that the exhaust is far too loud as well, so I'm going to get a new centre section made up with a silencer in it.

I decided to finally give him a proper clean today. Only the second time since I bought him in November

I've dyed the bumpers, spoiler, wing mirrors and boot trim black again. Will probably give them another coat tomorrow. The numberplate trim vinyl has also been removed as it was a bit tatty. I'll wax/polish the car tomorrow as it went dark before I got chance to.

I also decided to test fit the rear wheels as well. Really pleased with how good they look

Today's update :)

The Steffans need to go back to the refurber after he damaged them putting the tyres on. He's also forgotten to balance them and has put one on the wrong way round :( The Toyo's on my steelies were getting rather low so I decided to refurb the BBS off the 6n (following me? :p)

An afternoon and some paint later, here's how he looks:

I decided to finally sort out the roof as well. The years haven't been too kind to it, and it had faded horribly. I got hold of some Sonus SFX-1 and a couple of Sonus pads. After some elbow grease it really came up well, I didn't even have to get the machine polisher out.

You can really see the contrast with the sunroof here. The whole roof was faded like that.

What wheels are tey or did i miss that further back

the wide ones are Steffan BCW in 14x7 and 14x8. The BBS are RZ's in 14x6.5

I had them on my 6n for a while, but they were yellow/cream then to go with the yellow paint .

I actually prefer the BBS to the Steffans! I might put the Uniroyals on the BBS and sell the Steffans. Bit of a ballache after importing them from Germany but I'm not sure if they look too modern for a mk3 :(

These also turned up today Safety Devices branded Schroth Autocontrol II harnesses. They look tech as fook, inertia reels and everything.

I should get round to fitting all this really... Hopefully spend a couple of days on it once I get all this uni work done. Final year sucks :(

I have a very funny photo of this almost on its side in a ditch when the reversing lights let him down and he reversed off the bridge out of the driveway! Thats what the patch on the rear of the sill is. I'll see if i can dig it up...

I'm gonna run them with the GT seats for Oulton Park next week, but have got some OMP TRS Plus on order. The harnesses are blue, but were cheap enough that I couldn't pass them up. RRP on those is £500 .

These are the seats I'm getting (in red/blue/black). The blue stripe should help tie it all in together

Well the subframe is fitted now. My god, what a difference . It's like a new car again =D Much love to Saflar for his help in getting it on. 2 nights, 4 hours of filing and the deepest darkest pit known to man

The Steffans will be for sale at the end of the month once they come back from the refurbers again (being redone).
