Headlamp enquiry URGENT!

Featured Replies

I posted something about this a few days ago but need some quick advice!

Has anyone out there bought an aftermarket or a non original headlamp to fit onto their polo online? The inner side of mine is damaged so it needs a new headlamp so i got told by vw, i then took it to a vw specialist today and they said they will try and put the broken bits back together again and if not and depending on whats damaged then it will need a headlamp! I suggested buying a headlamp online and if they could fit it on for me and they said to me not to bother because it will be a waste of money, i'll have to get it replaced twice because they get made in china, itl end up costing me more etc Is this them trying to put me off just so i get the job done by them or are they correct??

Even though i said these parts are original vw equipment which i've found for £50 and they stil said it will be no good so does anyone know what i can do? I mean has anyone else here had any problems putting on aftermarket ones which have failed on you?
