So i got a car! Not even 17 yet 2 weeks shy

Got a bit of rust on the wheel arches they're way to being re sprayed :)

The boulevard the day i picked up the beautt :L

The engine bay looked a bit tatty . bit of polish soon brought it up to shineee :)

Bless it's little orange indicator lights.

Well they lasted long! had to get a pair of clear ones ! glad i did looks alott better !

i ordered some 70/60 springs and shock from phillj ! they came super quick, but they were 70/60 shocks and 60/40 springs ! bit of a bummer but as far as i can gather his suppliers didn't tell him so its not his mistake but i'm still chuffed! he is highly recommended guysss upside is if i ever wanna go lower i can get some 70/60 spring and they will sit with the shocks :) its not all doom and gloom !

so this was the height before the phillj kit ...... also wanting to get rid of the bumper strips on the side ! Love the stripless look its mint !

so thats where its at soo far looking to get hold of some wheels now ! thinking 14" wantt a pair of BBS RA's thinking they will look sweet ! or get my hands on a pair of 14" P-slots and put the hours in to polish them :) ill try keep it up to date ! i know i find other peoples threads inspiringg hope you find mine inspiring too :)

Great Minds think alike pal haha ! i just wish i had more money ! think once I've got some fairly reasonable priced wheels, then they will do till i pass my test then i'll go giddy haha ! just want it to look smart !

Not hard to make them look smart, Lower and some fresh looking wheels is the key.

Have a look on my build thread, its in the photo gallery. You should be able to find it, See how mine looks with a badgeless grill etc.

yeah i was pretty chuffed when i noticed the lights haha ! but theres nothing mine has that you cant get hold of so its all goood ! andd the bung thing ! went to halfords its a 24mm bung was like £1.79 this is what i got http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/...tegoryId_165562

ill check the sale bit for it ! i love seriously low polos just round where i live theres no chance me going as low as i like so I've gone for practicality in one way haha ! but I'm getting hold of some ats classics this weekend ! 4 7j's or 2 7j's and 2 8j's on 17/45's so they should put my arse on the floor !

a few more thingsss ! got one of them there 6n i think ? engine covers on the way as i think it makes the bay look sweeeeeeeeet ! gonna silverisee the rocker cover and getting rid of the water bottle and move it to that dangerous place where the fuses are :L been told corsa b bottles will fit down there so gonna pick one of them up from a scrappy ! then ill keep yow gus up and dated on her ! i mean i know you probably dont wanna know what my head unit looks like in it because thats boring and you probably found yourself reading this when all you really wanna do is see the pictures hahahhah :L so ill get a few up with the classics with the bra on then all sprayed up eventually with the engine bay tidyness and the larkk with smoked sede repeators de badged grill and what not !!! they will be taken on something better than my blackberry too as they are gash !!

did a little edit of my bay plans ! bit of a photoshop bodge ! the rocker cover will look more real than that haha ! but this is what i want it to look like >>

anyway ! little update as I've litterally just been to a scrap yard and got a 6n rocker cover and airbox! gonna upload some pictures tonight :)

but theres been a slight change of plan ! got a rocker cover of the 6n and an airbox ! what a waste of time the airbox was I'm of back to the scrappy tomorrow to swap the airbox for a mk3 golf one the ones that hopefully will fit straight on ! but ill keep you updated ! andd i was supposed to be getting hold of these classics at the weekend but that didn't happen ! but there not going nowhere so ill get em when i can !

put the golf elbow thing on today well its just sat on need some extended bolts also got a corsa b washer bottle ! the vw pump fit straight on easy peasy ! fits a treat aha !

righttt got the ats of dan the man today ! think he misses them but he will still see them on my car

then one against the back wheel not actually on but the difference is like sex !

then i was gonna take this one see hoe low it was with the can then put the wheels on and see the difference but after the can didnt fit under so you get an idea haha

so so need better quality pictures ! i will get em up once all the spray jobbys done and the news paper of the side ! for the full jizzable better quality photossss! I've still got the engine bay to finish so theres plenty of photos to come ! :p
