ABD 1.4 Turbo short block + 5sp box paddle clutch etc.

Featured Replies

Right, Best offer (via PM) takes this lot before I take it to the scrappers.

Some of you may remember my car from last year. Got an ABD block with skimmed pistons to reduce the CR to 8.7:1 there is no head on it and the bores have surface rust. The block wants binning anyway as the bores arent the best, the engine came out of a car that had about 120,000 on the clock. The whole rotating assembly (crank, rods, flywheel, pulleys, clutch etc) has been balenced at EDA, so really this all wants to go in a descent 1.3 block with a new set of rings (as the old ones have done starship miles too).

The clutch is a 3 puk solid centre paddle job, and didnt slip at 200 + lbs/ft of torque.

The gearbox is from a polo genesis, its low milage but the last 9000 miles it has done have been very hard ones!

There is a stronger than standard driveshaft included which I bought off hayesey a while ago.

Also still attached are the struts with 60mm lowering springs/shocks.

Also, I will throw in a 4speed box with a welded diff, ideal for drag racing!

All offers welcome! just need this lot gone. Located in huddersfield, w/yorks.

Just a reminder!!!!!....

Ohhh FFS!

Price is £1000,0000,0000

Or closest offer.

Seriously, the driveshaft and clutch are the best bits I suppose. And the gearbox. I doubt there will be anyone man enough to take on the stroker crank and rods.

I can remove those items myself. So if anyone wants to put in an offer for individual parts then thats fine.

'Offers' is hard work, but it makes selling stuff so much more interesting!

Not for the buyer it doesn't..

Everyone else has to put a price because 'its the forum rules'... and you must know what you want for it cause I guess you wont take £50 but you might take £500.

If I'm honest, I was going to scrap the lot. Probably about £6 in scrap, but I was hoping someone might want the bits to put to good use rather than just throw them away. But its quite specialist stuff, and what its worth isnt always what someone will pay. So no, I dont have any price that I 'want' for it other than as much as possible, if thats £6 then £6 it is. These bits are no good to me anymore.

As it happens I have had a few good offers, so I'm happy that I can get some money back and that the bits will see the street again.

The price is £80 and its sold to Saf!

Its nice to know that CP is still as anal as ever anyway!

Well I'm glad its sold.. See you knew how much you would take

If you don't want to abide by the rules for selling then don't advertise on here.. Everyone else has to put a price so I don't see why it's 'Anal' to expect you to as well. If you want a bidding war then go on eBay.
