vw 1.6 8v polo

Featured Replies

hi peops, well i currently own a 1.6 8v 6n polo (1997) owned the car for the best part of 6 months now and it hasnt let me down once :) its got 106k on the clock but this will go up as its a daily.

YEAR : 1997

COLOUR : WHITE

TAX AND TESTED

GOOD POINTS:

when i bought the car the rear interior was totally stripped out 2 16v front seats and white and purple dashborad and doorcards but since then i have bought brand new 6n2 front and rear seats a new black dashboard and front and rear black door cards and currently sits on pireeli p-slots, I'm a mechanic for vw so i have maintained the car the best i can, its had regular services with all filters changed ( currently has a k&n air filter ) brake fluid has been changed new passeneger side window runner as the tabs were broke. car has electric mirrors and windows, replaced the drivers side window switch as it would go down and not come bak up. the car runs like a treat with no issues at all , its currently sat on standard suspension as i never got round to lowering it.

BAD POINTS:

car currently has no roof lining the chap that had it before me covered it in purple fluff i had to get rid of it can provide on though id this is a problem, the rear shocks have given up on me but i have to new ones i can either fit these or supply them with the car, there is a rust patch on the drivers side front and rear arches but these arent major, apart from that is a good car and would make a good project for somone..
