alright guys just slammed my polo, :) at the mo its at around 80/80 but gunna raise the back up to 60 i think.

I know polos have really low exhausts systems but i was just woundering if there was any good tips to tie it up out of the way, I'm gunna get cable ties onit but will it hold and will it pass MOT etc?

any help would be appreciated :)

Cable ties will melt eventually, depending on design of the pipe work (not had to look at a stock polo exhaust in a while) you could undo the clamp and twist the pipe that goes under the rear axel up, the re-tighten the clamp. that should give you a few more cm's

Cable ties are holding my wheels on pretty well tbh.

cheers guys, I've taken the rears up too knotches tonight still looks sweet :) planning on getting a stainless straight through soon, what i think are designed to sit higher? but untill then cable ties and twisting it round sounds good :grin: still got 10 mounths MOT so few mounths to get a new system

New rubbers will help, also adjusting the individual sections at the joins to angle it up helps (if that makes any sense).

I got pissed off with ripping my exhaust off all the time so got a custom stainless one built, sits perfectly tucked up in the tunnel and you hit the bottom of the car before you hit the exhaust! I'd recommend a custom system if you wanna run low, aftermarket ones just dont cut it

Straight through system from cat back, really large backbox to keep noise down. It's a powerflow system made by the chaps at power and performance near Norwich, they build hot rods an such an they've done a brilliant job with it. I've heard some places that do powerflow zorts are shit though... so i guess it depends where you go.

How much did it set you back?

I need some custom shit making up, straight through from a 4 branch to a bike can. And i dont wanna spend shed loads.

I'm not even bothered if its stainless or mild steel, although stainless would finish it off

250 quid... not cheap but fully worth it if you running low and wanna forget about exhaust problems for the rest of the polo's life (lifetime warranty :-D)
