Right,

So I'm 17, trying to get a quote for insuring my 1.0L Polo 6n..

Looking on sites like Confused.com and Go Compare the cheapest it's coming up with is £3700?!

I must be doing something wrong?

Any tips?

Thanks in advance :-D

go direct

also could ad your parents as named drivers

sometimes, direct is more expensive :?

add anyone and everyone to the poilcy who has a good driving history and add them as NAMED drivers. that took my price down from £3k to £1.5k TPFT. also, apparently, FC can be cheaper than TPFT in some circumstances.

I've Got that mate.. I'm payin 1600, on a 1litre polo.. still a bomb.. but affordable, as I'm on my own on it i will get my own no claims not my parents... Worth it jus for the first year tbh, i think, keeps parents from worrying

Thanks guys, will have a look at the little box.. and try adding named drivers.. hopefully can get it below 2k -.-

if its standard tpft with tesco in your own name £800 or modified tpft with adrian flux is good for me.

I also have the same problem I'm paying 391 a month and its killing me! I've looked everywhere and all the prices are the same its taking the piss really! I've also tried going on my parent or putting them on mine and they won't let me do it because it fronting?!? I must be the only person in the UK incapable of doing it lol!

If youre ever tempted, the trackers are fairly simple to remove. i wouldnt advise it though.
