Ok so, the time has come to sell my Olop, she has been my absolute pride and joy for the last 2 years, and in the family for 5.

I've always looked after this car and serviced it at regular intervals. It's had fresh oil and filter every 5,000 miles, and a full service every 10,000 miles.

It is currently on circa 96,000 miles and the car has never felt tighter. It's just had over £850 spent on servicing including two new front wishbones, bushes, gearbox oil etc etc (details of work to follow when i can access the paperwork). Had no advisories at the last MOT (Nov 2010).

DSC_9414-tiltshift.jpg

Model: 2001 "51" 6n2 E

Engine: 1.0 MPI, HKS sumo mushroom filter, Powerflow cat back exhaust system.

Always been a solid little runner this, its a wonderful drive and is surprisingly happy on long motorway cruises. She has already had the pedal box done by VW so no worries with that, and has never had any problems with the transmission.

Unfortunately The engine has a squeak when its cold, but it only does it on the first start of the day, for about 4-5 minutes. As part of the work at the MOT i had them replace the auxilliary drive belt and water pump bearing in the hope of correcting it so we know that they aren't the cause and it wont break down.

Suspension: FK Automotive Hightec shocks with 60/40 spring kit, Prodrive Rear-Up strut brace

The suspension was fitted by a garage and has had a full geometry set up by Mike Stokes Motorsport in bournemouth after lowering, and is kept tracked up regularly.

As said before it has just had two new front wishbones and bushes so it handles like a dream now.

Brakes: EBC Greenstuff Pads, red brake calipers. At the MOT they also replaced whole rear brakes with fresh drums as well as the hand brake system.

One problem however this car has developed lately has been the ABS, it has developed a sensor fault according to VAG-com which causes the pump to kick in sometimes when you roll to a halt. I have manually disabled the ABS since i find it more of a hinderence in those circumstances . It went through the MOT with this so it isnt as serious as it sounds.

Wheels and Tyres: The car will come with several sets of wheels and tyres to allow the new owner to chop and change!

OZ Racing Records - 16x7 Refurbed recently in satin snow white, with nice new tyres on (less than 2,000 miles ago) - Falken Ziex ZE912s 195/40 16 Front and 215/40 rear. These rims are quite rare and i've yet to see another set on a polo! They will come with Porsche centre caps and carbon fibre OZ racing ones

14" Polo SE "R Line" Graphite alloys, also on Falken ZIEX ZE 912s size 185/60 14, kept as winters and when fitted give a sublimely comfy ride for cruising, the tyres have only done around 3k and have absolutely loads of life left in them. They were refurbed about a year ago and look like this without any tyres on:

And on the car, a good alternative look.

I will also chuck in a set of standard 13" steels as they arent going to fit on my next car! They also have loads of life left in them and come with the wheel trims.

Exterior Styling:

FK Automotive angel eyes with 8000K HIDs, i also have a set of OEM 6n2 GTi headlights which i'll lob in, haven't got round to fitting them yet as i'm waiting on some new ballast connectors from hong kong. I will fit them at no extra charge. The FKs have had the Halos modified to LEDs, so look like this when all lit up

GTi lamps:

It also has some retrofitted projector foglights, which i have fitted with SMD led bulbs to use as daytime runners on an independent loom and harness.

Quick list of other external mods:

GTI grill, debadged rear, GTI honeycomb fog surrounds, Rear Spoiler, R Line rear badge, aero wipers

Interior Styling:

OEM 6n2 GTI steering wheel with red stitching, blue interior lighting, E-tech engineering stainless pedals, alloy sills, leather gearstick gaitor also red stitched to match. FK automotive Miami black suede front bucket seats on corbeau frames.

Seats and you can just about see the wheel

ICE and Security:

Kenwood KDC head unit, Pioneer door speakers. Does currently have a 12" sub and amp which i plan to keep but that can be added for a small surcharge.

Hawkalarm remote central locking kit.

Okay heres some piccies

Bodywork wise the car is typical for its age, a few car park dings but nothing too bad.

Interior switchgear

It will also come with a set of Thule aero bars and locks.

The car comes with a massive collection of servicing history and has always been looked after well by me and my brother before me.

CURRENTLY IN DORCHESTER

I will be returning to Dorchester, Dorset for my xmas break with the car and can sell it then, after which point it will reside near bromley at my old man's house. This is inconvenient i know but if you're serious about this car then it shouldnt matter.

The car currently has a year's MOT and 6 months tax

To contact me regarding the sale leave me a PM/post a reply on here and i will give you my details .
