but seriously numberplates have nothing to do with being a learner and surely have a 2002 plate polo is better proof you are well off at your age than a plate that will have cost a hundred or so? by the way i did see he got it from a family member but i am talking about his car being seen by strangers, which is what he is obviously worried about

i think a private plate would be the last thing i'd do to my car.... after light up washer jets and a decal of a mermaid riding bareback on a unicorn shoting flames out its ass

but, seriously, if someone had bought be a p/plate, I'd be really chuffed, even if I was a learner and stalling and bunny hopping all over the place. Also, many people who learn don't even have their own car, it could belong to a parent who has a p/plate - do you think that they're going to worry about their reputation - someone might think that it's them driving the car and not you.

My advice is this, though, if you are concerned about having this plate, be honest with the person. Speak to them and tell them that their gesture was a really nice and thoughtful present; but, that you are a little worried about having it on your car. I think you'll find that this person will respect your honesty, they might even offer a solution for you.

Just wasted 10 mins of my life trying to find out what the plate says and he hasnt even said, you cant ask for someone's opinion on something if they dont know what there giving their opinion on! Some personal plates are good like my dads is PC 04KEY and his name is patrick clive oakey, buts plates like badboy or shit like that just tells me that the driver is trying to compensate for what he is lacking in another department!

P.S TELL US WHAT THE FECKING PLATE IS............PLEASE!!
