right I've been searching the forum looking for some inspiration to help me to false floor my 6n, came across a 6n2 with boot build but no complete false floors.

I'm going with 1/2" plywood I'm not sure if this is the one to go for.

would be good to see some pics and some advice on this

id say 1/2'' ply would be ok.

make a template to the shape of your boot floor with cardboard or use your carpet as a guide etc.

draw around on the wood and cut out with a jigsaw, probably take some trimming and fiddling about to fit.

then cut holes for speakers etc etc, work out where your mounting amp or whatever, cover with carpet or whatever you like :)

did yo u have a spare wheel at all ?

if so where was it

i dont really want to drive without one

I'm just going to run it single with a 12" sub and the amp hidden

Maybe useless to you but in my mk3 i have carpeted the whole of the rear and then where the spare wheel holder is cut a peice the same size and screwed my sub and amp (on the side of the subbox) to that made a whole in the middle of the pan and used the orignal spare wheel washer and nut to secure it down i have put foam underneath the carpet and wood to stop vibrations but i cans till carry a spare wheel and have my sub facing either backwards or forwards. looks pretty decent and it only cost me about £35 quid altogether for carpet, foam and wood.

I've made a false floor in the back of my 6n... Got rid of the back seats and the spare wheel...I sunk my sub in where the spare was and hid the amp underneath! I used 1/2 inch MDF but havnt covered it yet! Its not to difficult.. I'd reccomend you make a template and then use a jigsaw! (As said above) takes time but looks good when its finished! Steve

this was mine, got all the audio given to me so

but yer i just drew round my carpet, trmmed it abiit and coverd it in the boot carpet
