I dont know if they are still open but there was a garage called Green Oval in Morley that i once used, he rebuilt a mk3 Golf GTi with/for my uncle and it looked brand spankers when it was done. Also had work done there on my polo and on a friends car without any problems, but this was a couple of years ago... The guy was called Brian i think.

Whatever you do avoid princess garage in Headingley - a friend took a car in and asked them simply to diagnose a fault, and to call for authorisation before carrying out any work. When he went back they'd replaced a shitload of parts that had already been done, and it ran like a bag of nails... And they wanted paying for the pleasure. Not cool!

Try here, fella did some work on my polo and has done a fair bit on my mates punto aswell
