The engine was always a talking point of the car with its megajolt system etc, started out like this:

Finally pulled your finger out then

I never thought id actually see this tbh.

Looks sick though dude, just gotta do something with that cam cover :unibrow:

Whens it going to the RR then bro? And where you gunna be taking it?

  • Author

i dunno ye tbh  will wait and see when its got an mot :?

ull need it RR setup before the MOT really.

Last thing you want is them revving the knackers off it for the emissions, only for it to fail and do your engine no favors because the ignition isn't right and nor is the fueling.

Yeah i know - need to save a bit of dollar first

Yup, RR sesh aint cheap.

How long u gunna be saving for, exactly? haha!

Mine will be heading for the RR in March, hopefully to be ready for Springfest.

Joint session i reckon if you are still not done by then, but u best be tbh!

  • Author

Il be done by then - trust me 8-)

Can i ask what ignition setup you are using?

Ford EDIS system or something different?

  • Author

Ye edis system - megajolt setup :)

Ye edis system - megajolt setup :)

Awesome :)

Do you recon you could send me a picture of how you've mounted your variable reluctance sensor? (On the 8v I mean)

Would be a massive help, i'm having a bit of a ballache trying to think of where's best to mount mine (I'm thinking using two bolts from the oil pump housing)

Also with the trigger wheel, did you mount it using spacers etc or use a ring gear style one and weld it to the pulley?

Iscariot the trigger wheel is bolted to the bottom pulley and the sensor has had some bracket made and thers and made to be in line and correct position which line some bolt holes in the engine. better off asking bost as he fitted it all. olly kind of removed and guessed haha

and olly u have actually beaten me to finishing our cars haha, i need to pull my finger out tbf as it hasnt actually changed is anything got worse since we took them off the road :(
