Hoping to fit clocks from a 6n2 Pplo in to my car, dose anyone know how the rev counter is wired up and if it could be wired to a model with out coil pack as mine has the good old fashion tried and test bosch coil

There's no connection to the coil or anything under the bonnet so I'd say it works from the ECU through the cars wiring. The speedo works on pulses from the ABS. The diagrams I have, VW and Haynes don't show any detail of what's inside the instruments, only external connections.

Thanks for your reply, not got ABS so it's not going to be straight forward

rev counter runs on the cars canbus system.
