what? Luckily?

Either way youd get comp from it. Have some fucking respect

As much as you dont like having a car, some fucker could have died elsewhere because of this crash.

I do have 'some fucking respect' i'd be in a worse position if her lights were on, because then i would of been stopping her responding to an emergency! and then yes, 'some fucker elsewhere' could have died.

I'm just happy no-one was hurt.

If your sat at a red light, and an ambulance goes into the back of you, regardless of where its going ud get compo.

Its courtesy to get out of its way, however if you dont feel it safe to move then you dont, simple as. They wont just ram you out of the way.

Just the way you worded that post indicates to me, you couldn't give a fuck about it, just about your car lol.

my mistake for wording it 'wrongly' then but no, i do care about the whole incident, i'm glad no-one was hurt.

Fair play

I apologise :)

But yes, upside! What polo you after?

Sweet as chutney,

probably a 6n, i've wanted one for a while...and have a list of things to do to it too haha i do like the 6n2, but it'll be far too much money to insure :p

Depends

Go with a company that specialise in modded cars, and get it modded straight away

It cost me more to insure mine standard than it did modded. I lowered mine and my insurance went down

Thats with adrian flux btw

So, in your case, the lower the body, he lower the insurance? I want insurance like that!!!

haha

I was insured with them as they where cheaper anyway. but then when i declared that id slammed it, the company they had me with wouldn't insure with mods (they are brokers if you didn't already know) So they put me on a policy that did insure mods (as they even said on the phone, they can get it cheaper with mods as its what they specialise in)

So, they canceled that policy (had only renewed a month ago, so wasn't loosing a great deal) and the new policy was £150 ish cheaper. So the suspension paid for itself in a way

You sure about the lights thing? Not that i'm any good at Tort law as I only got a 2'2 in it last year i'm sure you wouldn't be able to claim if they had the lights and sirens on?

Just an inkling...

What!

How can you sit there and have a go at him when the Person driving response car had no lights or sirens on and yet went up his arse... She will not be able to take a call without blue and two's, as everything is recorded on black box in rear boot and she will have to get the ok to use them, or have i missed something, Hope you do get paid out mate.

Cheers buddy, a guy came to my house today and marked the car as not road worthy and shouldn't be driven, i cancelled my insurance and now I'm just waiting on the price he gives me for the car, probably sell the car for parts or scrap it, which ever gives me the most money i guess haha!

on the lookout for a 6n polo now :ninja::unibrow:

Assuming you know what blues and twos are, you're saying that when responding to any call ambulances have to have both on at all times?

Sorry bud, wrong on that one. To start with, the original poster does not say if the ambulance was actually on a call, and there are a lot of situations where use of the horns at least is pointlnes, and use of either/both can be counter productive or possibly cause other drivers to take uneccessary risks.

To me the original post reads luckily she wasn't on a blue light taking a call, or transporting a patient, when the accident happened.

But to answer the posters original quesiton. Nando's is on the inner ring road, between the uni and the football ground.

I didn't think of it that way

hence the 2:2 in tort ..... :disgust:

I got the impression he was happy the car didnt have the lights on as then people would ask why he never saw it coming to move out the way?

And i definately read it different to b-shaw as i dont feel the need to bit his head off.

Thats what i meant haha

we ended up going to the nandos in the town bit, parked in a ncp and walked :)

Even if they did have the lights flashing and stuff they still don't have the right to crash into the back of you if you don't get out of the way.
