And now for something completly different!

Jamie_300's Series 3 Landrover.

To begin the story you have to go back 30 years when my dad was in his late 20's and his mate was entering the AWDC safari championship and needed a co driver, my dad was a mechanic had been into land rovers for quite a while.

they ended up winning the champ twice back to back! and so my dads love hate relationship with trialing land rovers started!

Anyway here are some pics of "Lessie" in my family we normally name our cars after the number plate!

Plans: not much, get some better tyres for it, improve my off road driving skill, and then get another one to turn into a trialler!

ha, minutes after posted this, my dad says Happy birthday I've bought you some new tyres! (it actually is my birthday tomorow!) Happy days :)

As much as i would love a snorkel it hink it looks a bit out of place on the old skool landy's suit disco's and defenders more!

My dad loves these things, he used to have a S3 110", his last one was a S2a, chopped the back half of the chassis out, put a new one in, converted it from wagon to a pick up, changed the colour from a funny red to hammerite black

I love the truck cabs, when i get the trialer its going to be truck cab as then it will look pretty close to the one my dad used to have! :)
