Got a pic?

Going back a few years I've seen people on here with 6N projector headlights made by Depo, but apparently these days they're branded FK.

So I'd assume they've merged fairly recently or are part of the same company.

To be fair the majority of aftermarket headlights tend to be cheap looking, up close anyway (I have FKs).

If they look the same type as what you'd ordered I'd just put them on the car

Same as what I've got, work perfectly fine and look good too. Got them cheap enough anyways ;)

Pete.

depo is the european name of fk, no difference in design however you might want to check if they are lhd as most are and in that case i would return and ask for rhd jobbies.

- also did they com with a wiring harness, as this should be included along with 2 relays and maybe some bulbs.

Sould be a switch sort of thing to select lhd or rhd.

Just had a look at them yes they are both lhd and rhd, so i have switched to rhd as it also has a yellow sticker on it saying so. It also comes in a funny harness and two clip thingys that attach to the harness where it goes into each headlight. It only comes with one relay which I think is all i need as the diagram only shows one. There is only one wire from one side and two wires on the other side which connect to the harness is this right? it says so in the basic diagram that is has given me but don't know whats it for? Mabey the LED's? The indicators are also included and looks likes a stright swap as there are only yellow bulbs for the indicators which are pre-installed.

My only question is that it stated that it would have automatic headlight adjusters on it. I don't think it has? Or do I not need them as they are projector headlights? Or are they build in? Nothing seams to look like it would move inside. Does anyone know about this?

I will get pictures up tommorow of the lights but I might install it during the weekend.

Depo ones are the same.

These are the ones I sell through my eBay shop, however they shouldn't be listing them as FK.

Noticed the spelling mistake on the front of the boxes yet?

lol, what is the spelling mistake?

- the "automatic adjusters" are the electric beam adjuster.

is there a little knarled wheel next to your headlight switch? with a picture or a headlight?

as long as you have them already fitted, then it is plug and plaY.

Yes very tru indy, false advertising! I would normally return them but I can't really be bothered with the hassel with postage back and that its going to cost me as well. But they don't seam too bad hopefully they will last long.

Does anyone know about the headlight adjusters? are they in there or do they not come with it?

dixy - yes but I'm just wondering if it is built in or not because some angel eyes don't have automatic adjuster headlights in them - you have to take it out the original headlights and put it in the angel eyes. To be honest I can't be bothered to do this thats why I wanted it with them already on.

So just asking if anyone knows if they are already in them or not? i know its normally the black bit behind the headlight. But there isnt anything black behind the angel eyes. Just slots for the bulbs to go into.

I'm using Philips xtream bulbs by the way. Which are quite good. I duno if I'm ready for HIDs!

hi,

after looking at the pictures, it would seem that the adjusters are built in, which colour wires are in those little harnesses?

Had to be done, I've sold a fair few of those units now so have had plenty chance to notice it!

those bulbs are standard w5w bulbs, you can get leds very cheaply here.

you would need 16, so 8 sets. (4 ach ring, 2 rings each side.)

but, from experience, it is VERY bright and might dazzle on coming traffic. and imho i think it looks tacky.
