6n dahboard removal?

Featured Replies

as title says, i am thinking of removing my dashboard to have it repaired (has a giant crack near the window.)

i have tried searching but i can only find posts of people wanting to know how to remove the instrument cluster.

i would imagine you would have to remove them and the heater control console, centre console glove boxes heater vents llight switch lower dash panels steering wheel..etc

what I'm asking is, does anyone know where the bolts are, as it would make it alot easier.

thank you

I have the same idea in mind (removing the whole thing, fixing up the heater, and tightening all the bolts...

and i have noticed there are two different ones: a red one and a black one, same or what?

If you take the scuttle off under the bonnet on the passanger side there are four

13mm bolts remove them then there are two on the side off the dash pop the cap off and remove them 8 mm i think then take the passanger airbag or glove box out and there two bolts straight in front of you on a metal bracket then the dash should pull out but becarful you have unclipes and unpluged all wires hope that helps steve

Sorry, but i wasn't specific, I meant the books (red & black).
