i bought a 1.0 litre polo coupe, shes currently standard and i priced insurance for it, i just turned 19 and have 2 years named driving experience, cheapest quote i could get online was £3700! I'm from northern ireland, anyone know a cheap insurance company lol???

wow thats a fail!

i aint passed my test yet, and i went Adrian Flux and i got qouted on my own insurance on a 1.4 8v i believe at around 2.3k

lol i know, had a gti mk3 golf and there was no way i was gettin insurance on it lol so she's still sittin, might stick a few pics up at some stage

At the time I was 17, Got insured on a 1.0L 6n for £1800 with Adrian Flux...that was the cheapest I could get... Also try elephant.co.uk

I don't know how i managed it then.. I've got a 1.0 6n2, insured fully comp for 540 a year.

I'm only allowed to do 6k, but meh. :)

lol but wen i got the quote i said i didnt drive late at weekends or in peak traffic times and i only did 6000 mile per year lol :p think its cos of my postcode, i had a 1.0 lupo for a wile too but used my sisters insurance and just put me on as a named driver to keep the price down but it was still round the £1000 mark as far as i can remember

I have a 1.3 polo coupe insured with admiral, think it ended up costing me £540 with 1 years no claims.

elephant seem to be doing good quotes at the mo. Just done an online quote on a tvr chimaera 4.0 for shits and giggles and got a quote of £850 fully comp. shame i cant afford to buy a tvr.
