Well thats now sold, and this is its replacement.

Well here is my type 19 mk2. its a 1.6 Spazmatic, with manual choke etc. but this is only due to it being easier for the VR6 conversion that i will be doing in the near future.

I dont feel like blabing on about loads of different bits n pieces like in previous Build threads so i will just let the pics do the talking :)

Thats it atm, will stay in winter mode for a while, till i buy another set of summer rims for it, not sure what to go for yet though. The Desmo if for our Snowboards for this season, its my favourite buy so far, as its 30 years old but in brand new condition :)

I am planning on doing alot more to the car, like sort out all the parts of the body work, eventually have a smoothed bay with the VR6, certain mods to the interior and alot more but try and keep it fairly retro :)

More Updates to come :)

then fitted my harmon/kardon ipod kit, so fitted it and wasnt happy, the headunit looks too new and the screen just looked stupid so stripped it all down and used my imagination and mounted it elsewhere

So after the car crapping itself and yet another thing breaking for no reason, i decided to bite the bullet and search for a VR donor car, a nice obd2 VR with 1 owner and just under 90k came up so i just had to get it, especially seen as it has a huge chunk of history to prove millage etc, so after picking that up the other day i started having a much around, The car drove superb (engine and box wise) but had wrecked strut top mounts and a broken spring and goosed wheelbearing so enough to get me home. Pulls like a train and seem perfect for the mk2, plus it was a bonus that i got one the same colour as martins VR which is now my brothers so hes been helping himself to a few parts i dont need aswell :)

anyway not much pictures other than these three. Am on the look out for a Rado VR pedal box and front cross member if anyone knows of any going.

heres the pics.
