I'm a club polo noob, but these are my photos of everything I've done to my polos..

This is my first mod on my 1.4cl, black rear lights

next was coilovers, i got SPAX RSX seeing as a friend worked in a SPAX dealer garage

Had to lift it up a bit as i hadn’t rolled the arches

I then bought some Schmidt modern line 15x8s on 195/45/15 budgets (SHIT)

this was a year later, fancied an upgrade, i got a T plate 16v with 40k mileage £1750. spotless underneath, not a scab of rust to be found.

2 hours swapping everything over

then had a custom decat exhaust fitted. From ProSpeed exhausts in Cardiff.

works well..

Few months down the line. NIGHTMARE. Got crashed into by fiat cunto.

Door pillar dented in about 2 inches. Needed a jig to pull it straight. Got a second hand door and wing

then i got the arches rolled

the paint was fucked, got a respray on a hobble from a friend who happens to be a professional painter.

had to jack the back up so they could mask the rear wheels

And it came out REALLY well. Couldn’t stop grinning when i seen it first!

And thats it so far. Thoughts?

very nice mate! best colour i had those rear light. iirc u can remove the red filter for the fog and then makes the rear look smart but it is a pain of a job to do. id do little touches like de wiper. keep up the good work.

what other plans you got?

not sure mate. got ZERO monies left. i was thinking de-wiper. looks easy enough to do. duno what to use to fill the hole though? i seen someone used their cigarette lighter, that was cool : )

Probably get some stickers for the back windows. I'm gonna get some number plate surrounds. seen some ncie ones on dubmesiter, also a friend of mine said dubmeister sell road legal press plates? ill get some press plates if they're road legal. i dont want any otherwise though.

Personally think stickering up the rear will ruin the nice clean smoothness of this car, and about the wiper blank, you can easy use like a 22mm gromet or something similar or even just smooth it, its easy :)

yeah, he painted it, then flatted it back so it was dull, and then polished it back up. i always grin when i see it now

i didnt do the tints myself, another friend who owns his own window tinting company, tintedvision.co.uk did it for me

Looking good, needs to go a bit lower on the front though IMO.

To smooth the wiper plate thing, what I did was stick a coin in there, 10p iirc, with some superglue, then filler on top of that. Smooth it back and a quick coat of black. Didn't crack in the time I had it on there and took about an hour to do including waiting for stuff to dry.

i want to lower the front more. only a tad more, but to do so id have to remove the helper spring, and i dont really wanna sacrifice the amazing roundabout abilities..

Had no helpers in mine, felt exactly the same when I took them out really.

The helper spring is completely compressed when the car is low anyway, so it won't make much difference at all.
