Hello all :) I'm looking for a full exhaust performance system for my Polo 6n2 Gti but cant seem to find any.

Does anyone know of websites or people or shops I could go to find a good performance one?

I know that jetex do a pretty good system, make sure you get the stainless one though as they do a cheap one too..

Mine came from Top Gear (Bridport) ltd in dorset, www.topgear.co.uk 01308 425895 was fitted in 2006 & still looking & sounding good .

A am going to buy it first thing after christmas with some coilovers, debadged grill, K and N Induction kit and reconditioned BBS wheels Should be very nice indeed!

sounds good matey. but instead of a k&N go for a green panel filter . i had one in my 2003 subaru wrx. it worked better then k&N induction kit plus with an induction kit its more noise really then power. but if you do get k&N if you really wan the performance out of it you will have to get the car remapped. trust me i know from expirience lol

You don't want to put ANY open cone filter on a polo gti, they suffer with heatsoke pretty bad, panel filter....cotton green as mentioned because the pletes on the filter are bigger and less restrictive because they are made from Cotton, go for the carbon dynamic air box made by bmc filters, or any other kind of enclosed filter, you will loose more than you'll game by putting a open cone filter on mate, need any advise give me a pm, I had my old 6n2 gti running 139hp after I was done with it

Yeah i'd go for the BMC CDA. theres a reason everyone uses them because there probably the best.

Carbon fiber keeps the heat out!

Exhausts, personally i would have gone for a custom system and hide the tailpipe.

They sit too low unless you cut into the bumper

yes haha. if you want it to go fast and have high bhp try this for size :-).

if your thinking of an induction kit get a cold air induction kit i think k&N do one called a typhoon will cost about £199.

Also get a set of Kent camshafts and pulleys these are light weight and strong and will give you better performance better bhp.

If you can try get a walbro fuel pump 255L to replace your Factory one.

next if you can afford it get a remap of the ecu if not have a super chip fitted as they are fitted to VW racing cars and give you a gain of 10 to 20 bhp.

Last but not least full stainless system from manifold back.

I'm in theory getting a custom exhaust system and a 4-2-1 stainless steel manifold and a BMC induction kit :) and depending on how long i keep the car i'll get a remap aswell...
