Wouldnt know where puts this,

Have a MK2 Bread Van, have a wet boot and now I'm getting fed up on scraping the inside of the car when it freezes

anyone got any ideas? is it as simple as a Gaskit?

Assuming it's not your rear washer hose that's come off and is filling the book with screenwash, it's probably either the boot seal or the ligth seals. A quick pikey fix for the light seals involves taking them out and applying some silicon sealant (from any builder's merchants)

Na its not rear washer box... as it dont work lol,

I've never heard of a boot seal leak unless they are ripped. Check for tears or massive indentations/creases.

The rear lights can leak and I have known this to happen a few times. Silicon sealant or foam weather strip from B&Q will suffice.

When you say the rear washer box doesn't work? As in no water comes out when you spray it or the wiper doesn't work? If no water comes out it's probably because the pipe has split so the water comes out earlier than the nozzle, I.e. your boot.

check around the rear window aswell (under the rubber seal) as it may be getting in trough there as so far on all the breadvans i have had it seems to rust away under it

I would check the behind the rear lights at the bottom of the wheel arch well. My car had a huuuge hole there and water was spraying off the wheel up in arch and into the boot.

Well there is no wheeer from the motor so i assume that its buggered, oh well,

Will have to have to look at the arches and have some Bathroom Sealent should do the trick...

1st thing...bathroom sealant is poop for fixing cars

id suggest you get all the carpets up and dry out any dampness , then get yourself in the boot with a torch and have a helper hosepipe the car , sprinkle it as rain would settle and then see what you can find

my guess would be the taillight gaskets or the boot needs ajusting down on the seal

Don't bother with silicone sealant. Go straight on with the tigerseal. Anything that looks like there's half a chance of leaking:

A few thoughts:

Rear windows glass to seal, and seal to metal.

Lights. all round the gasket.

Check the boot catch is actually pulling the lid down tight on the seal. (can be adjusted by moving the striker plate)

Check where the wiper arm comes through the body. Tigerseal if necessary.

Badges. Check clips. Replace or tigerseal. (or both)

Is the tailgate window bonded in on the mk2 (can't remember), or in a rubber seal? If bonded, check with hosepipe, if rubber seal, treat as side window.

Are there any drains running inside the tailgate? On the rocco, if water gets into the tailgate, it runs out INSIDE the seal, then runs down into the boot.

Numberplate screws?

Spoiler on the tailgate? how's it attach? could that let water in?

also check the rubber grommets which your wiper motor cable runs through. mine kept popping out and letting water trickle down the c pillars and congressing in the corners by the lights. then after time building up in the wheelwell.

Tigerseal is excellent, but if you ever intend to take the rear lights off again you'll probably have to smash them off. I used Tigerseal on some NOS MK1 taillights and they are stuck solid to the (now rotten) rear panel. I definately won't ever use tigerseal for anything that needs to come off in the future again!

on all the mk2's i have seen its is a rubber seal not bonded
