Green Polo 1.4 16v 100bhp

Very sort after car now for sale as I have just got a diesel due to traveling a lot of traveling to work and back.

Nice little car very powerful and quick, comes with the normal 16v spec; Orginal Alloy wheels (not the ones in the pics), electric windows, power steering and the 16v specific deep bumpers extras fitted are; Mud flaps and front fog lights.

It has split folding rear seats and a sunroof.

Mot till June 2011.

Tax 31/12/2010.

Interior is in good condition for its age

Body in fair condition

Bad points;

All cars have them

There is a bit of rust on the rear arches and small spots on the bottom of the doors other than that body work is good.

There is a problem with the clutch bearing it has had a new clutch and gear box fitted but the release bearing has failed so it is hard to get into gear, not a big job to replace.

£1100 ono, as they are RH alloys after all, but they do have a few scuff marks you should be aware of. And also the rear alloys are actually off the car at the moment anyway as 1 of them has a puncture and I haven't got round to getting it sorted. But you will get the orignal alloys as well if you want them.

The front tyres though are farely new as I had them put on around July.

Just that you can select gear as the clutch has no pressure on it and also I had a garage check it out

Hi mate pictures for the engine are below. Yes it is an AFH engine.

I know there is a way of driving it if you can match the revs to the gears and they can slot straight without a need for the clutch but I have no way mastered this.

Just so you know I do have another guy interested in the polo at the moment who might be collecting it next thursday if all goes well. But if I still have it by then and you are still interested just let me know.

As you can see from the photos though that the engine can do with just a clean up as it has been sitting on my drive for over 2 months.

I will now be getting the bearing replaced in the gearbox so that it will be in fully working order as so far most people didn't read the first post correctly so didn't know about this.

So if you have any interest in it once it is working just let me know.

But with having to get it repaired the price is going to go back to the original price I listed it for off £850 ono
