I have had a dragon green 6n 1.4 8v for a year now i have now got a new car but plan

On using my polo as a project car i am thinking maybe matt black wi so nice wheels slammed to give the right stance but i also want to do a engine swap just need a bit of advice on which engines to consider and which engine ill benedit most from i was thinking 1.4 16 v on carbs or a 1.8t but bit more harder to do. If i chose the 16 v is it a straight swap if any one got any ideas or advise please help thanks steve

I've got a dragon green 6n and a matt black 6n... i use the dragon green now, just bought it, its my new project..

i wouldnt bother with the matt, it looks ace. I've got mine ratrod, but also murdered out.. but its way too hard to keep clean, ill never do it again. but its up to you at the end of the day.

not sure bout engines.. a mate of mine done a 1.4valver swap from a 1.3 and it took him a while, few problems along the way but he's good at it, gives stuff a try. myself I'm not sure... bike carbs on your engine you have might be a good idea.. gives a good sound too

i love the car, its undriveable atm, and for sale. id love to keep it as i love the ratrod look... and matt is easy in the right weather etc.. i was out in the rain under a canopy doin mine at one point.
