How to remove the handbrake cover - Polo 6n

Featured Replies

Hey,

Just wondering how to get the plastic cover off the handbrake?

I know how to remove the base part so you can access cables for adjustment etc, but I need to remove the plastic cover off the handbrake lever itself?

It looks like it just slides off, but I think there must be a clip or something I need to remove to get it off.

I dont really want to break it if it can be helped.

Thanks

what the long plastic bit which goes from the button to the pivot point? Not the bottom surround trim??

Sorry, i misread, I thought you were trying to adjust the handbrake.

Are you wanting to remove the entire lever? it's just a couple of nuts, undo the handbrake cables and unplug the switch.
