I used Rover gunmetal grey i got from halfords

Well, i was going to buy some coilovers this month, but after a call to the insurance i found out that it will be too much to declare them so i will have to wait till the summer when i have more no claims.

anyway, i wanted to do something to the car over the easter break and my wheels needed a good refurb due to me not being able to judge where the curb is properly lol

i sanded them down almost to the metal at some points the marks were so bad

Then the masking up

IMG00812-20110420-1508.jpg

IMG00813-20110420-1508.jpg

and the final product. I used Rover gunmetal grey if anyone is interested

Surly the time it took you to mask up the wing and the discs u could have taken them off to paint and less wast lol

haha cheers, the box is quite easy to do, i think i could have made it fit a bit better if i spent longer on it though. The fiberglass is easy to use, just mask up the area and then put a couple of layers on. The box itself is made out of 12mm thick mdf if i remember right. it took two tries to get the wood to fit right so make sure you get enough wood just incase :p

them plates look good pal :D

i will prolly invest in some of these as they look legit

boot build looks nice and hidden

Thanks, the plates are legal and very good quality, i would definitely recomend them.

I was bored today so i thought i would put the badged grill back on, but i sprayed the vw and 16v badges black. Also did a bit of stickerbombing on the dash today but i ran out of stickers

The hose for the bmc has been ordered and should be here wednesday so i will fit it then

Edited by rozza92

did you get that bmc fitted ok ?

  • Author

Just waiting for the pipes that i ordered to arrive and then i am going to fit it, but i have found a guide on how to fit it now though

  • Author

I fitted the BMC today, the hose that i brought wasn't a perfect fit so i might have to order a different one but it will do for now. i have also ordered more stickers to stickerbomb the rest of the dash :)
