Managed to find the guy was in the same training I was in haha. Said he swapped it for his polo was up for about 900 if I remember right

my fog lights came today

they are not actual vw ones but they were only £15 of ebay so i thought i would give them a go. will try and fit them tomorrow

they are a bit smaller than the vw ones i brought a while ago but they seem easy to fit

started to fit the fogs, ran all the wiring through the car and cut the grills, just have to work out how to mount the fogs now but i shall do that tomorrow. in the pictures they are just placed in so that i could just get an idea of what they would look like

Got two 165/50/15 tyres on there way to me. Get ready for some lowering in the next couple of weeks

yeah thats what i have been thinking. i want a new car but i cant bring myself to sell my polo may have to buy a second car instead

right so two bits of bad news

first of all the guy i brought the tyres from hasnt sent them out yet so i am in the process of getting my money back from him

second of all, this happened today

driving to work and just had no power what so ever, would barely pull away and wouldnt rev over 3k so i am going to have a go at fixing it sometime this week. hopefully it is just the distributor cap or something small like that.

It was a good thing that my car isnt any lower than it is as it barely made it onto the tow truck, almost ripped the splitter off when it was reversed off

thanks, keep an eye on here then, may be for sale after christmas. I've managed to convince myself that getting a 3 series is a brilliant idea on a student budget but we will have to see what happens haha

i have just got a few things that need tidying up and sorting out at the moment before i do much else. Need to get the crash damage fixed still, needs an MOT and service, need to redo the headlining as it is sagging in places and there are a few rust patches that need looking at. Then if i can afford it i will start doing some smoothing and other mods.

yeah it is really narrow. i dunno how he got the 350z down without scratching it there is only a inch or two either size of the car. yeah we share it with next door but they only have two cars so we still have plenty of room for more cars .

Car passed the MOT without any advisories yesterday and I also had a good service done so now running perfectly. I am going to look into getting it on a rolling road at some point this month or next. I really want to know how much the chip has added

Got it off poloace who used to be a trader on here. It was £150 and i think that it improves the car a lot. I am going to try and get on a rolling road at some point soon so I can find out if it has done anything

Finally remembered to get a video of how the new exhaust sounds

got some wind deflectors for christmas as well. got a long list of things that need to be done to my car now so as soon as i have a gap in my uni work i will have a crack at everything. most likely going to be at the end of the month

Also i had a bit of a run in with the wall down my drive the other day. Hopefully most of it will polish out but i am smoothing and painting the front bumper soon anyway so not too much worries

Prefer the exhaust dude and looking better! Shame about the wall :/

Only thing I don't like is the foglights, look really odd you not thought about getting genuine ones?
