I only managed to get one finished today before it started to rain but it came out quite well i think.

I will attempt to do the rest tomorrow if it doesnt rain and then i just neeed to swap the tyres over from my current wheels and put them on the car :)

Went to get the tyres swapped and wheels fitted today with a quote of £50. An hour later i leave the tyre fitters after spending £140  Turns out my front two tyres were shot and i then needed to buy some new nuts and locking nuts for the new wheels.

But oh well cos i think it was worth it with the way the wheels look on the car now

Coilovers Finally fitted!!!!!!

it took me and my dad a while to do as i didn't have the best of tools and some of the nuts had rusted on and had to be drilled out. i didn't take many pictures as my phone died.

got some better pics today, had to raise it even more after my arches tried to eat the tyres on the way to work this morning which was annoying, but it is still quite low. Got to wait till i have some money to get the arches rolled and then i can go properly low :-D

Looks so much better now dude, good job.

Just knock the lip back on your rear arches with a hammer that will give you more clearance.

And do the same on the front then roll them with a baseball bat or something if you don't mind loosing a little bit of paint :)

  • Author

thanks, i think if i have enough money i might get them done profesionally as my a couple of my arches are rusty :(, but if i am short on cash then i might try it myself

Got my arch rolling booked in for this sunday so i will actually be able to drive the car without it rubbing haha and maybe go even lower :ninja:

if i manage to scrape some more money together in the next week or two then i will also be ordering my exhaust system soon

on a bad note though my dad has sold his R32  At least i got to drive it down the runway at gti international. Managed to get up to 120mph before my dad realized how fast i was going

Keep the BMW stickers mate, I think they make a nice change.

  • Author

i do like them but a couple of them needed replacing so i thought i may as well get vw ones

I'd keep the BMW ones cause they're pimp ;)
