Nice purchases, where's the third fog going eh? :p

My mate's just bought a 6n2 wheel, gonna fit it this week for him! It's a nice little upgrade :)

Looking forward to seeing it all fitted bud

Thanks

The 6n2 steering wheel feels and looks much nicer than the original and i haven't even fitted it yet.

One of the fogs has a crack in it, one doesnt have a plug on the back so i am going to try and make one good one out of the two, but they were only £30 so a bargin haha

I've been on the hunt for fogs and a 6n2 wheel!

Let me know how simple it is to fit the steering wheel :)

it looks pretty easy to fit, i found a guide on how to do it

http://tigerstyle.co.uk/phpBB3/viewtopic.p...=10&t=42733

but i shall let you know if it is as easy as it looks

Also heading over to Fahrvergnugen Tuning on tuesday afternoon for a remap on the way back to uni

Yeah I've looked through that same guide, it looks simple enough.

Disconnect battery - disconnect airbag - pop the wheel off - pop the new one on - connect airbag - connect battery :)

It takes to minutes to fit the wheel but its a right blag to remove it trust me took me 2 hours and a lot of swearing to get that off for you lol, The 6n one is piss to do as its on Allen keys and not clips like the 6n2

How to Remove a 6n steering wheel and fit a 6n2 Wheel,

-Disconnect battery "Leave about 10mins"

-Remove the 2 Allen Keys on the back of the steering wheel

-Disconnect airbag

-Undo the 24mm nut "i think it is"

-Pull the wheel off

-Refit 6N2 wheel

-Do the Nut Back up

-Connect airbag

-Then just push the airbag into place "It clips into place"

-Connect battery

Job done. Po*Low*

If the passenger airbag goes off someone will get a stickerbombed face lol. I didn't disconnect the battery when I took mine off and nothing happened

got the steering wheel fitted today, it really was as easy as the guide made it look, it took me and my dad about 45mins to do including the time to drain the electricity after removing the battery

Cheers for the comments, it does look so much better, how ever i think i might have knocked the steering when i took the old wheel off as this is how it looks when i am driving in a straight line

looks like it may have to come off or i will try and do it another way

Also had the Car chipped today and my god it feels so much better, feels quicker and much more responsive and Alan, who does Fahrvergnugen Tuning, is a great guy and full of knowledge haha

Looks good buddy :)

Hahaha, I knocked mine when I changed over the wheel on my last polo, had to take it off 3 times in the end lol

Also how much was the polo to get chipped?

It was £150 but it is worth it. Makes the car feel much more livley

I just noticed you're going 75 in that pic! haha, great time to whip out the phone!

went to drive to the shops yesterday evening and my car wouldn't turn over, so today i tried jump starting it and nothing happened.

As i needed to use my car today, i phoned my breakdown cover and they arrived in 10mins, charged the battery for 2 mins, and had left within about 5 mins. but before they left he gave me a nice bill of £40 for the 5 mins that they spent here. That just takes the piss doesn't it but i suppose it is my fault for only paying £30 a year on breakdown cover.

Well after jump starting my car i went to drive it the next day and it didnt start again. So i got a new bosch battery from euro car parts with the club polo discount.

Hopefully this has sorted it.
